Coaching Terms

Effective May 29, 2026. We will update the date above whenever this document changes materially.

These Coaching Terms cover our one-on-one coaching engagements. They work alongside our Terms of Service, Community Terms, and Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with those, these Coaching Terms control for coaching.

1. What coaching is

Coaching is a paid, fixed-length engagement where we work directly with you on your specific situation: polishing your personal site and portfolio, sharpening how you present your skills, and helping you understand how to find, win, and deliver for clients or roles. Coaching includes access to the community for the length of the engagement.

2. Scope and format

  • Each engagement has a defined length and a defined number of sessions, described to you before you buy (for example, a multi-week sprint with a set number of one-on-one calls).
  • The deliverable is the sessions and the work we do together during them. It is our time and guidance, not a specific outcome.
  • Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement. We will tell you how to book and reschedule when the engagement begins.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

Coaching does not guarantee that you will get placed, get hired, win clients, or earn any particular income. We do not control hiring decisions, clients, or the market. Buying coaching does not entitle you to placement or reconsideration of any placement decision. We bring our full effort to your sessions; results depend on how you carry the work forward.

4. Your attendance

You are expected to attend scheduled sessions. If you need to reschedule, provide reasonable notice (we will state the specific notice window when the engagement begins). Sessions missed without reasonable notice may be treated as delivered, since the time was reserved for you.

5. Ownership of your work

Everything we help you build (your site, portfolio, pitch, code, and materials) is yours. You keep full ownership. Our own frameworks, templates, and teaching materials remain ours, licensed to you for your personal use as described in the Terms of Service.

6. Confidentiality

We treat what you share in coaching as confidential and will not disclose it outside Neunsoft without your consent, except as needed to deliver the engagement or as required by law. Please do the same with anything we share with you.

7. Payment and refunds

  • The fee and what the engagement includes are stated before you buy. Payment is typically due before the engagement begins.
  • If you cancel before the first session, you receive a full refund.
  • Once the engagement has begun, refunds are pro-rated for sessions not yet delivered, less any work already completed. Sessions already delivered are non-refundable.
  • If we cancel the engagement for a reason that is not your breach of these terms, we refund the portion not yet delivered.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Coaching Terms; we will update the effective date above when we do. Changes do not affect an engagement already underway. Questions? Email hello@neunsoft.com.
